MAMMA MIA THE MUSICAL – Tuesday 9th October – Sunday 18 November 2018

Set on a Greek island paradise and inspired by the story-telling magic of ABBA’s timeless songs, writer Catherine Johnson’s heart-warming tale centres around Sophie, a young bride- to-be.

ADELAIDE FILM FESTIVAL – Wednesday 10th – Sunday 21st October

Adelaide Film Festival (ADL Film Fest) is an eleven-day celebration and exploration of Australian and international screen culture with a unique program of screenings, forums and special events.

The youngest but most dynamic national screen event, Adelaide Film Festival was established in 2003 and was placed in Variety’s list of “50 Unmissable Film Festivals”. It is Australia’s premier film event, launching new films, art and interactive projects to national and international audiences.

FOREIGNER with special guests Cheap Trick and Sheppard – Live in the Park – Sunday 14th October

Space Events in association with Chugg Entertainment is thrilled to announce legendary rock band FOREIGNER to perform a magical night to remember ‘Live in the Park’ at Botanic Park.

As a special bonus for Adelaide fans, hall of fame rock legends Cheap Trick and Aria award-winning Sheppard will open the Botanic Park show in spectacular style.

See the West End Redbacks take on New South Wales in the 2018 JLT Sheffield Shield at Adelaide Oval.

Adelaide Fashion Festival – Wednesday 17th – Sunday 21st October

Presented by Mercedes-Benz Adelaide and Unley, the Adelaide Fashion Festival is a celebration of innovative South Australian design and style. The festival showcases established and up-and-coming Adelaide designers as they present contemporary and relevant fashion and accessories alongside unique hair and makeup styling, local photography, music and South Australia’s iconic food and beverages.

Vogue Festival – Friday 19th – Saturday 20th October

Presented by Vogue Australia in partnership with Rundle Mall, Adelaide Fashion Festival and The City of Adelaide, the free Vogue Festival is back for two days of fashionable parades, pop-ups and parties.

Expect two days filled with fashion, fun and entertainment in the heart of Adelaide, held again in Rundle Mall and Rundle Street

OzAsia Festival – Thursday 25th October – Sunday 11th November

Held of 18 days every Spring, OzAsia festival is Australia’s leading festival engaging with Asia. The annual program presents the very best in contemporary dance, theatre, music, visual art, film, literature, food, family events, workshops, talks and more from across Asia today.

This year, will see the largest ever program – featuring a record 60 unique events!

TARNANTHI Art Fair – Friday 26th – Sunday 28th October

The TARNANTHI Art Fair presents the latest work from over 40 art centres from across Australia. Art lovers and collectors can buy works of art directly from artists at the Art Fair, held during TARNANTHI’s opening weekend.

The Art Fair takes place at the Tandanya National Aboriginal Cultural Institute, which is Australia’s oldest Aboriginal-owned and managed multi-arts centre.

TARNANTHI – Friday 26th October – Monday 28th January 2019

TARNANTHI presents contemporary art of the world’s oldest living culture on an unprecedented scale, in a national event held annually by the Art Gallery of South Australia.

TARNANTHI is led by Artistic Director Nici Cumpston, the Art Gallery of South Australia’s Curator of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art. This year’s feature artist is master bark painter John Mawurndjul. TARNANTHI also includes an annual Art Fair, artist talks, performances and events.

Moon Lantern Parade – Saturday 27th October

Australia’s largest moon lantern parade will take place at Elder Park on Saturday 27th October.

2nd round JLT Sheffield Shield – Thursday 25th – Sunday 28th October

See the West End Redbacks take on Queensland in the second round of the Sheffield Sheild test matches at Adelaide Oval.

Cheesefest + Ferment Food Festival – Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th October

Taking place at Rymill park, Cheesefest and Ferment Food Festival will present live cooking demonstrations, live music and dancing, 14 local food outlets and a range of beverage options including the Adelaide MINI Garage Aperol Spritz Bar and 23rd Street Distillery G&T Bar.
