Friday, May 5th – Food Truck Movement

A permanent Food Truck Park for Adelaide, located at the all new Goyder Plaza, Adelaide Showground, Wayville. Showcasing some of the best local food, wine, beer & entertainment that South Australia has to offer. The Food Truck Movement is a weekly culinary carnival and entertainment playground for all ages. Entry is FREE. Opening times are Fridays 4pm til late, Saturdays 11 am til late and Sundays 11 am til late.

Friday, May 5th – Sunday, May 7th – Bowerbird Design Market. 

Held in the Wayville Pavillion at the Adelaide Showground, Bowerbrid Design Market hosts a hand-picked selection of some of the best Australian independent designers and makers for three days of ideas and inspiration. With over 160 stalls, it’s the perfect place to seek, explore, find & collect unique high-quality, ethically-created wares. There will be plenty of delicious local artisan-made food and beverages to enjoy while relaxing to cool tunes.

Sunday, May 7th – Kodomo no Hi Japan Festival 2017.

This year Adelaide’s largest Japanese festival will celebrate 22 years. The Festival is a celebration of the cultural and social links between the people of Japan and Australia. It is a great day for people of all ages and backgrounds to enjoy Japanese music, performances, craft, food, martial arts and much more.

Sunday, May 7th – Food & Booze & Dancing Shoes. 

As part of Tasting Australia, Jessie Spiby (of Masterchef Australia fame in 2015) curates a celebration of the best young talent in food and booze production in Adelaide – a dayclub for foodies held at Plant 4 Bowden.

Tuesday, May 9th – AFC Champions League: Adelaide United v. Jiangsu Suning.

Friday, May 19th – Monday, May 22nd – Clare Valley Gourmet Weekend.

The Clare Valley Gourmet Weekend showcases wines from more than 30 wineries, regionally inspired cuisine and the sounds of live music.

Saturday, May 20th – Sunday, May 21st – DreamBIG Children’s Festival.

Held at various locations along North Terrace along with a few other locations, enjoy a trail of art and wonders for both children and their families to explore over two days. There will be shows, workshops, activities, exhibitions, eating, making, watching, laughing and much more will keep you entertained.

Saturday, May 20th – Adelaide Red Ball.

The inaugural Red Ball Adelaide will be held at the Adelaide Town Hall on Saturday 20th May 2017. All funds raised set to help the Fight Cancer Foundation’s education support program, Back on Track.

Friday, May 26th – City Cellar Door with Wirra Wirra & Yalumba. 

Head down to the National Wine Centre for this Month’s city cellar door experience featuring Yalumba and Wirra Wirra wines. CCD will offer a wine-friendly environment for the general public with a big emphasis on comparing two wine regions’ terroir and styles.
