South Australian Wine Tasting

Some of the most famous wine regions in the world are dotted across South Australia. From Shiraz in the Barossa, Riesling in the Clare Valley, to the big reds of the Coonawarra.

Our success in winemaking began in 1841 when our first vintage was recorded in the Adelaide Hills. More than 160 years on, South Australia continues to dominate Australia’s wine industry.

If you don’t get the time to visit one of these regions then let us organise an afternoon wine tasting break for your delegates. An expert from the vineyard will be there to talk through the
varieties, helping to distinguish between the different flavours and depths as well as making suggestions on food pairing. Of course what goes well with wine is cheese and your wine tasting will also be accompanied by an indulgent local cheese platter.

South Australian Apple Break

South Australia has a long history of apple growing, starting back in the 1860’s in the Adelaide Hills. It now produces around 29,000 tonnes of apples annually and there are currently about 1.5 million apple trees in South Australia grown on orchards that are almost all family-owned and run. The main variety grown and exported is the Cripps Pink, or better known as Pink Lady. South Australian apples are also used make apple juice and dried apples.

For your morning our afternoon break your delegates can enjoy our tasty South Australian Apples prepared three different ways and accompanied with freshly brewed tea and coffee.
