Whilst here with us in South Australia, discover our natural and wildlife attractions.


Just at the front of the hotel you can board Adelaide’s only tram. After a 35 minute ride you will arrive at Adelaide’s favourite beach Glenelg. Glenelg has more than 250 shops, restaurants, cafes and discovery centre. Head down in the afternoon to watch the amazing sunset.

Dolphin Swim or Watch

Located at Holdfast Shores, a luxury purpose built sailing catamaran will take you to see the friendly dolphins. Whether you want to swim or stay on the boat and watch, the cruise has a 100% success rate of seeing these beautiful creatures and is a great way to spend the morning.

River Torrens

Located directly adjacent to the hotel, the picturesque River Torrens has a walking/jogging/cycling path along its banks.  Stop for a coffee or an ice-cream at the kiosk and watch the rowers, go for a paddle boat ride or enjoy a Popeye cruise.

Botanic Gardens

Established over 150 years ago this green haven in the heart of the city features fascinating plant collections, beautifully restored Victorian era glasshouse, an Amazon waterlilly pavilion, restaurant and bookshop.  Free guided walks daily at 10.30am.

Kangaroo Island

At least a full day is required to see all the wonders of this amazing destination.  From its landscapes to wildlife to beaches and rugged scenery.  A memory to treasure always.

Cleland Wildlife Park

There is something for everyone here.  Join the park keepers feeding the native animals.  Take a walk through the ocean to outback interpretive centre or enjoy a nocturnal walk to see the animals at their most active. Join the Koala Experience and hold your very own Koala, Daily sessions run between 2pm – 3.45pm.

Adelaide Hills

Visit the rolling hills of Adelaide so close to the city and so beautiful all year round.  Home to some of South Australia’s best wine varieties.

Adelaide Zoo

Approximately a 15 minute stroll along the banks of the River Torrens or a shortboat ride on the Popeye you will find Adelaide’s glorious zoo. Home to Wang Wang& Funi, Australia’s only panda bears. Other exhibits include the South East Asian Rainforest of the Sumatran tigers, Childrens Zoo & Seal bay.
