Centre for Economic Development of Australia – CEDA
CEDA – the Committee for Economic Development of Australia is a respected independent national organisation with an engaged cross-sector membership. For more than 50 years, CEDA has been delivering leading thinking, informed discourse and rigorous research on the issues that matter.
CEDA was founded in 1960 by Sir Douglas Copland, one of the most important figures in Australian economics. It’s purpose was to harness the ideas and influence of leading thinkers from business, government, community and academia.
With a proven track record of delivering on the issues that matter for over 50 years, today CEDA continues to deliver leading thinking, informed discourse and rigorous research to influence good public policy for Australia’s economic and social development.
It is chaired by Paul McClintock AO, and the Board of Governors includes figures such as former prime ministers Malcolm Fraser and Bob Hawke, academics Professor Adrienne Clarke and Nobel laureate Professor Peter Doherty, noted business figures Richard Warburton and Andrew Mohl.
Our members include 700 of Australia’s leading organisations – from ASX100 to universities, government departments and professional services companies.

Australia-Israel Chamber of Commerce – AICC
AICC – The Australia-Israel Chamber of Commerce is Australia’s pre-eminent international Chamber of Commerce and one of the country’s most active and prestigious national business organisations. AICC was established in the mid-1950’s by a dedicated group of Australian business leaders. There are more than 1000 AICC members in Australia, including leading companies across a broad range of industry sectors; fifteen of the top 25 companies in Australia are currently members or sponsors of the AICC. The AICC has offices in all five biggest Australian cities, but also in Auckland and Tel Aviv.
AICC’s mission is to strengthen the importance of Australia and Israel to each other by fostering bilateral trade and business opportunities. Also, it tries to encourage business-to-business networking within Australia. AICC has a unique position in the Australian business community through its ability to attract the nation’s most prominent business and political leaders as both speakers and event attendees, representing a diverse multicultural base.

The American Chamber of Commerce in Australia – AmCham
The American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) in South Australia is a voice of international business news and interests throughout Australia and the United States of America, with members that include CEOs, executives and professionals of all ages.
AmCham members are provided with up to date information, access to opportunities, a voice to help shape Government policy, a strong database, and a business events programme for which the InterContinental is often the venue.
Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA)
The Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) is the leading representative body for the urban development industry.
The Institute was formed in 1962 to represent the interests of the private sector in close collaboration with all levels of government and other organisations with complementary agendas. The UDIA has an important national voice in development matters. Members include major public corporations, financial institutions, small companies, professional practices and private individuals directly involved in the production, financing and marketing of urban property developments.
InterContinental Adelaide plays host to a range of UDIA events. These events provide an opportunity for industry consultants, government agencies and developers to interact whilst gaining valuable information in relaxed surroundings. With a membership base approaching 300 and a database of over 1,000 qualified high level industry contacts, UDIA events attract a high calibre of delegates.
