Ross Lusted the IHG® Culinary Ambassador featured in Riverside Restaurant

InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG®) announces the launch of its Culinary Panel: a new initiative featuring five celebrated chefs including Ross Lusted who have been appointed IHG® Culinary Ambassadors to develop a repertoire of unique signature dishes for guests dining in IHG’s hotels across the Asia, Middle East and Africa (AMEA) region.

Riverside Restaurant at InterContinental Adelaide is one of the first hotels in Australia to offer selections of the new recipes. Guests can enjoy dishes such as Chef Ross Lusted’s Prawn and Squid Salad and Slow Roasted Huttonvale Farm lamb shoulder. Chef Ross Lusted whose home country is South Africa has over 15+ years experience and is the IHG® Culinary Ambassador who specialises in Australian Cuisine.

Well-travelled Ross Lusted has built a career on notable successes developing food and beverage concepts at luxury resorts and five-star hotels, for Qantas as consultant on the airline’s first-class menu, as well as by owning and operating his own acclaimed restaurant. After posts ranging from Singapore to Bali and as far as Utah in the US, the South African-born Australia resident returned Down Under to open The Bridge Room in 2011. Plaudits for the venue have since coincided with major awards and commendations for its co-owner and executive chef. Whether for dining by the sea, amid mountains, up in the air or now back on his home ground of Sydney, Ross Lusted has helped define the contemporary international dining experience.
