Legendary Chen’s Mapo Tofu Is Coming from Japan to Shiki

Chef Chen Kentaro is joining forces with one of Australia’s pioneer Japanese Chef, Ikuei Arakane, to cook up an exclusive teppanyaki degustation dinner at Shiki Restaurant for one night only, on 29th September 2016. Internationally acclaimed successor of Ironchef China, Chef Chen Kentaro was recently awarded 2 Michelin Stars for his restaurant Shisen Hanten in Singapore, which made it the highest Michelin-rated Chinese restaurant on the island. 

As the son of the “Szechwan Sage”, Chen Kentaro is not hiding his intention to serve the legendary Chen’s 3rd generation Mapo Tofu! This spectacular dish created by his grandfather Chen Kenmin, never before made available in South Australia, will bring your appreciation of the authentic Szechwan dish to the next level.
