Adelaide Restaurant Recommendations

Below you will find InterContinental Adelaide’s restaurant recommendations that have been provided by our In the Know Concierge team based on their recent self-experience. All restaurants we recommend have been recently tried and we also check in with guests once recommended to verify their experiences.

Press* Food and Wine
A very trendy and modern establishment, who pride themselves in sourcing local seasonal produce, with a fantastic wine list. Downstairs is casual, 1st floor for a slightly more formal setting.

Bistro Dom
Established in 2008, Bistro Dom is straight a classic French bistro from the design through to food and especially wine.

Sean’s Kitchen
Right next door is Sean’s Kitchen in the Adelaide Casino. Sean Connolly is one of Australia and New Zealand’s most well-respected chefs and his recent restaurant is located in the historic building of Adelaide Casino, and only a short 2 minutes walk from InterContinental Adelaide’s front door. We recommend Sean’s for lunch or dinner or to pop in for a drink and a snack.
Open Hours: From 8:00 am daily.

Madame Hanoi

Also located within the Adelaide Casino is Madame Hanoi, a French-Vietnamese Espresso Bar & Bistro by internationally acclaimed celebrity chef Nic Watt.
Open Hours: From 7:30 am Monday-Friday, and from 11:00 am Saturday and Sunday.

The restaurant sits at the heart of 2KW, Adelaide’s premiere rooftop bar.
Open Hours: Monday to Friday from 10:00 am and Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 pm.

Jamie’s Italian
Just round the corner is Jamie’s. Jamie’s Italian was founded in Oxford in 2008 and in 2014 he brought his flagship restaurant to Adelaide. Jamie’s Italian Adelaide is located in one of the city’s oldest buildings – the former Westpac Bank, and only a 5 minute at the most down North Terrace. We recommend Jamie’s for a multi-generational get-together.
